Bank says 'No' and then 'yes'

 We are having some trouble with Santander blocking our transactions to move money from a current account to Revolut so we can pay for the house!

We spent all day Saturday on and off the phone trying to get some sense out of their customer service who appeared to be controlled by A.I

Apparently we have to wait up to 48 hrs for each transaction to be approved by a 'back office team' who cannot be contacted by customers direct..... so frustrating!

After another phone call this morning, it is all sorted... the transfer to Revolut was done and the money has been transfered to the seller, deeds to be signed tomorrow!!
