Washing

 We asked our Workaway hosts (Ann and Martin) if we could use the washing machine bearing in mind most of our clothes were getting filthy due to the work we are assigned, they replied that there was a charge €5 if they supplied the powder and €4 if they didn't.

Steve asked Martin why they would charge for this and he said that other people had charged them when they had done Workaway. Steve replied that this doesn't mean that you have to charge, you can do things differently.

Martin said that there was a way around this, we could cook more for them, Steve laughed and said we were going to do that anyway

We were astounded as we had just assumed this would be included and we had gone out of our way to get various food items and collect parcels from England for them with no charge for petrol etc

We went away and washed all our clothes in the shower and hung them out to dry on the line. (no pegs)

Then we went for a sleep, when we got up Ann appeared upset she asked us if we could move on from this and said she didn't want us handwashing our clothes, that they had all fell off the line and that we could use the washing machine. 

We replied that of course we could move on and carried on as normal.

Unfortunately, one of my t-shirts had blown away in the wind, we still haven't found it.....
