After getting over Covid and working hard on the house, we are having a few days' holidays in Malaga, staying with friends Karen and Malcolm.
We arrive in the early evening on the 17th of November 2022, Karen has cooked and we spend a few hours chatting and catching up.
On Friday, the plan is to go for a walk, a game of Paddel on the seafront, a meal out in the evening and then Open Mic, the rain stopped the Paddel game but we managed a long walk instead, had a nap in the afternoon before going out.
We started with pre-drinks in a sherry bar at 1 euro each then went on for a vegetarian meal at a restaurant owned by a friend of Karen and Malcolm. The night concluded with an Open Mic event, a mixture of Spanish, and English and a very loud Scotsman kept us entertained until midnight. It was a late night,as we then had to walk to the tube station.
On Saturday, after a bit of a lazy morning, we wandered into Malaga to explore the city, we walked 10km and saw the cathedral and the castle, sampled churros and saw the sea. After a busy day, we went back for another home-cooked dinner and played cards until the wee hours.
On Sunday, we decided we needed to rest, so we only planned a short walk into the Botanical gardens which were lovely but a little neglected in places. Christmas had arrived here, as the staff were busy putting up Christmas decorations. Home again for more rest, yoga and meditation.
Leaving Monday morning for Ronda, an hour or so down the road.
