River beaches

 So the Portuguese have invented River beaches which are exactly like they sound..... beaches and safe swimming areas on the side of a river. Here are some photos

Meimoa River beach - not known to foreigners, well known to locals.

Benquerenca river beach - managed to persuade Steve to swim in this one! It was very surreal swimming in a river with fish and dragonflies and pond skaters - beautiful!
